Pet Timer

A cute desktop companion pet that reminds you to drink, stretch and keep your work intervals via timers.

This is small prototype with minimal functionality and might be extended in the future. It works for Windows 11, but a Linux build is also available but not thoroughly tested. No AI was used to create this and no AI stuff is integrated.

Features

• Interval Timer (single repeating or two alternating times) for your work sessions
• Configurable number of reminder with icons for: Hydrate, Stretch, Pose
• One pet with animations
• Pet that jumps toward a configurable position on your screen and notifies you on reminders and interval changes
• Pet reacts to your mouse and jumps away from it in a playful way
• Pet sleeps on your desktop if not interacted with for a while
• Add more pets to your screen to increase the fun (distraction)!

Disclaimer and Known Limitations

• The pet timer application can interfere with the input of other application and can overlap and move on top of other windows, so use it at your own risk
• The applications is not collecting any user data and runs completely local on your device
• The Linux build is not fully tested, use at own risk
• Only one monitor supported (not tested with multiple monitors)
